1. The physical properties of PP non-woven fabrics

PP non-woven fabric is a non-toxic, odorless, milky white high-crystalline polymer, and pp non-woven fabric is one of the lighter varieties of all plastics at present.

pp non-woven fabric is particularly stable to water, the water absorption rate in water for 14 hours is only 0.01%, the molecular weight of pp non-woven fabric is about 80,000 to 150,000, and the formability is good. However, due to the large shrinkage rate of pp non-woven fabrics, the wall of the raw material product is easy to sag, the surface of the product has a good gloss, and it is easy to color.

2. The mechanical properties of PP non-woven fabrics

PP non woven fabric has high crystallinity and regular structure, so it has excellent mechanical properties. PP non-woven fabric has higher strength, hardness and elasticity than high-density PE (HDPE).

The outstanding feature of pp non-woven fabric is the resistance to bending fatigue (7×10^7 times of opening and closing without damage marks). The dry friction coefficient of pp non-woven fabric is similar to that of nylon, but it is not as good as nylon under lubricating oil.

3. Thermal properties of PP non-woven fabrics

PP non-woven fabrics have good heat resistance, the melting point is 164~170℃, and the products can be sterilized at temperatures above 100℃.

PP non-woven fabrics will not deform at 150°C under the action of external force. The embrittlement temperature of pp non-woven fabrics is -35 °C, and embrittlement occurs below -35 °C, and the heat resistance is not as good as PE.

4. The chemical stability of PP non-woven fabrics

PP non-woven fabric has good chemical stability. In addition to being eroded by acid, it is relatively stable to other chemical agents, but low molecular weight aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. can soften and swell PP non-woven fabric.

The chemical stability of pp non-woven fabrics also improves with the increase of crystallinity. Therefore, PP non-woven fabrics are suitable for making chemical pipes and fittings, and have good anti-corrosion effect.

5. Electrical properties of PP non-woven fabrics

Non-woven fabrics have excellent high-frequency insulation properties. Since it hardly absorbs water, the insulation properties are not affected by humidity and have a high dielectric coefficient.

And the non-woven fabric can be used to make heated electrical insulation products with the increase of temperature, and the breakdown voltage is also high, and the non-woven fabric is suitable for electrical accessories. The non-woven fabric has good voltage resistance and arc resistance, but has high static electricity and is easy to age when in contact with copper.

6. Weather resistance of PP non-woven fabrics

The non-woven fabric is very sensitive to ultraviolet rays, and the addition of zinc oxide dilauryl thiopropionate, carbon black and similar milky white fillers can improve its aging resistance.
